Im gonna mail this guy to tell him he's a flaming liar. I mean, if someone did figure out how to play and copy GC games. He/She for sure would have an IQ higher than 10. And for Damn sure post the info somewhere. If someone cracks the GC, they should at least get the credit for it.

He was right about the modchip, but I guess this guy didn't read the site. It said it was used to play games from multiple regions. Same chip is used in some panasonic GC, and GC's sold at lik-sang.

Yes, but on the www.blade.cc site they clearly state "Games are easily copied for backup purposes onto DVD media and played directly on the Gamecube. Another reason to upgrade your PC with the correct type of DVDRW". And on this other page from Blade http://homepages.ihug.com.au/~gamers...cations-2.htm, you can clearly see on the GameCube section that a "Nintendo Gamecube Backup Unit AVAILABLE NOW $99.00" is posted. I sent an email to find out abou it and this is what they said: "The first version is a case replacement so DVD backups can play (physically) in the unit. Further External DVD Rom attachment Drive is imminent" Any thoughts?

GameCube Back-up

Don't get discouraged, there is a way to back-up the GameCube Games I don't know exactly how it's done, but I've seen a back-up before, It requires a DVD-Burner and a 2.5 Gig(In Most Cases) DVDR, you must get the files off the disk,(I myself can't even figure out that much since me DVD rom just spits it back out) after that I know there was some editing to the files, then burn & it's ready to go, although Me and the person I saw with the back-UP Own Panasonic Q's so fitting a DVDR is no problem but he exclaimed after showing me his DVDR popping it in & watching him play RE for 10 Min that he would sell me the info for $50 I told him to stick-it, but why i post this is for those who don't think it can be done, it can it will just take time.
