Code:
===============================================================================================================
WARNING: FreeArc returns an error in archive Data.bin
===============================================================================================================
Do you want to try again? [Y/N]:
Data1.ini
Method=pZLib3+srep+lzma:a1:mfbt4:d256m:fb273:mc100 0000000:lc8
Include="archives\Tex.sga"

And:
- Discs#= ??? I don't even know the exact Disc amount before compressing. I know them for sure with m0 compression, but as soon as compression comes i don't know the exact amount. Why not make it variable?

As for the discs# just put anything there until you know the exact number and change it later, it's only used for folder name and display, so technically you can input anything at all there, not only numbers, even just ???

As for the error I'm not sure, I couldn't really cover all combinations during testing, it shouldn't happen but I'll have to take a look at it.

OK, I've tested around a bit with the method you used in data1.ini.

First thing, I had no errors whatsoever, so my guess is the problem is not in your method line, maybe a mistake in the include line, make sure there's no typo.

Also, as long as there's only one path & file and there are no spaces in the path the quotation marks are not needed but it works either way.

If you are certain about the Include line than perhaps the problem isn't in you data1.ini file at all but rather in the settings.ini somewhere.

Also, as a side note: I'm quite impressed with the results of the method you are using there, it just compressed a 1.2GB folder into a 140MB file when I tested it, and it did it very quickly.

Just a thought about that error....

Well, first thing first, did you get it working?

If not, what Windows Operating System you have?

I remember something about arc.exe producing errors without compatibility mode on Windows 8 & 8.1.

If this is the problem than I can create a quick hotfix for UCC that will set compatibility on arc.exe to Windows 7 if the windows is either 8/8.1.

I know for a fact that the problem doesn't occur on Windows 10.

OK, I believe I found your problem...

From Settings.ini
Code:
UseListFiles=y
Since your using the Data1.ini, Data2.ini, etc. to list the files this shoud be set to NO:

Code:
UseListFiles=n
Otherwise it looks for text files with a list of files in the common\Lists folder and since there aren't any it spits out an error.

First one, i will try with different settings

Edit:
Even Method=0 doesn't work.

Have also put a "m" infront (just in case you didn't mention it), doesn't work either.

Well, I've taken your ini files from the zip you uploaded, changed the uselistfiles and some other settings to match a game I have on my computer and it's currently compressing the first file, no errors yet.

Try different settings but from the way it looks right now it might be a system specific problem.

I will try something though, give me a few minutes I'll send you a PM with a link.

EDIT

PM Sent...

Let me know if it helps

Working on another update, it won't be something big, some minor improvements to existing things and possibly one or two new functions and maybe new compressors.

In all probability there won't be a big version change as well (Probably 4.1.3.1 U1)

The changes so far:
  • Improved script handling of conversion output folder selection to make it more simple to understand.
  • Changed UCC Default Conversion Output folder name from [Conversion] to [Conversion_Output]
  • Added option for user to define a custom name for the UCC Default Conversion Output folder in Settings.ini (To be used instead of [Conversion_Output])
  • Changed Start/End "Splash" again so it will look good with the new version number

I'm open to any suggestions, especially regarding more compressors to add support for.

Working on a possible new logo for UCC, would like some feedback, here are a couple of versions (attached bellow):

So, Two questions:
  1. Which one better, left or right?
  2. Do you even like the logo design?

UPDATE: Fixed the sharp edges at the bottom of the logos, Updated images.

So, please let me know your opinion, thank you.
