For pzlib i guess the error comes from your "-t2" option.

PS: Also make sure you have both DLL files for ztool in the right place (oo2*.dll).
PPS: If i remember correct, CIU had problems if your arc.ini has wrong uppercase letters in arc.ini for pzlib for decompression. It should be "pZLib3" exactly. I don't know why, should be UltraARC's code fault.
I have the oo2*.dll files.

Anyway, I'll try the arc.ini entries you gave me here and report back.

Thanks.

OK, tested it now, pzlib3 now works perfectly, ztool still crashes arc.exe, maybe I'll try to switch to the version 0.0.19.8 from UltraARC maybe.

Or maybe it's OS related, I'm on Windows 10 x64 version 1709 (Fall Creator Update).

UPDATE
Nope, problem solved, here's the arc.ini code that worked:

Code:
[External compressor:pOodle]
header = 0
packcmd   = poodle e:poodle:t100p:c128m{:option} Input <stdout>
unpackcmd   = poodle d:poodle:t100p - - <stdin> <stdout>
datafile   = Input
I also added the previous ztool 0.0.19.8 that have pzlib, plz4, plzo & pzstd codecs, which also works fine.

I don't understand, what files do you want to extract using inno?

If you are referring to the archives created with UCC (e.g. Data.bin) than of course, most if not all versions of CIUv2 which is based on inno will work for that, possibly also other scripts but I haven't tested.

Yes they can, as long as the script has split/merge functions (in most cases split.exe).

As I mentioned, CIUv2 will do nicely, maybe others too, you can find CIUv2 in a couple of versions right here on the forum.

Here's the link to the CIUv2 Wiki which links back to the specific threads on the forum here with the downloads:

CIUv2

You'll need that wiki anyway to learn how to use CIUv2.

UCC V4.1.3.1 This Weekend

Hi everyone,

Well, it's been in the work for a while but if nothing else happen to prevent it, version 4.1.3.1 of Ultimate Conversion Compressor (UCC) will be released during the coming weekend.

Here's the complete list of changes:
  • Bug Fix: Wrong version of splitter command included, fsplit file updated
  • StartUp Changes: Added a warrning message after the UCC "Splash" ended to warn against antivirus interference with compression process.
  • New Addition: Added support for new compressors (ztool pOodle v0.0.19.9, AFR 32bit, AFR 64bit, PZLib V3 x64, Razor Archiver, ztool v0.0.19.8 using pzlib, plz4, plzo, pzstd)
  • New Function: Added functions to allow using UCC splitter to split the Data archives instead of game files
  • New Function: UCC Will now automatically generate the Records.ini file when needed.
  • New Function: UCC can now be set to automatically move REDIST out of the game folder
  • New Function: UCC can now be set which disc # to move the REDIST to as part of the new REDIST move function
  • Function Improvement: UCC will now copy additional files located in Common\Setup folder that are not REDIST or Setup.exe/Setup.ico to last disc of the conversion instead of the first.
  • Splitter Improvement: The UCC Splitter now comes with a few more menu options (DVD5, DVD9, BD25)
  • Splitter Improvement: You can now input any of the presets available in the size selection menu into the SplitSize varialbe in Settings.ini (1GB, 2GB, 3GB, 4GB, DVD5, DVD9, BD25) or as usual type the size in MB.
  • Settings.ini Changes: Added a couple new variables to the File Splitting section to support new splitter functions
  • Settings.ini Changes: Added a few new variables to the General Data Files section to support redist function
  • Visual Changes: Improved console windows titles & messages design (using = instead of -)
  • Visual Changes: Improved Starting & Ending "Splash" screen.

The total file size is around 11MB, a little under 10MB is the UCC executable (Converter.exe), not a major growth from previous version considering all the added files.

You can use upx in ultra brute mode (takes a hell of time) to reduce the size of executable(not sure if it works for a AB2EXE processed file)

Actually EzzEldin16 is using upx on each of the included dll & executable files (arc, srep, precomp, etc.) to help me make it smaller already so I can't see using it on the Converter.exe itself having much effect anyway.

Cool.

Just an advice, you can just keep the executables and dlls in a resource folder near the exe and run them.

I know, I decided against it for the time being to keep the clutter of files/folders to a minimum.

I know it makes it so only I can add additional compressors to UCC this way, and for the time being that's how I like it but I'm not ruling out changing that at some future time.

Smile UPX Saved a bit of a size but sometimes not good

@78372

i'm using this parameter
Code:
--ultra-brute --compress-icons=3
--ultra-brute : uses every available compression tool and algorithms
--compress-icons=3 : strip the program from icons so it gets smaller

*but sometimes the ultra brute method makes the application unusable it crashes when you use like lzma.exe so i used standard compression method
but lzma.exe is small anyway it's about 137kb it wouldn't make a difference
