Can't burn DVD
I tried to burn enter the matrix pc game into a dvd but apparently i can't. I get a message saying please insert a rewritable disc into the drive when i have already inserted one. I have the original game by the way and my writer is HP DVD writer 300n and the disc i'm using is a sony dvd-rw. pls help

call me a little suspicious (about how in all your threads you do 'i have the original game' etc...) but... in this thread you're saying you're having problems burning it to dvd and in ... this thread you're saying you have problems installing it so hmm what EXACTLY is it you're trying to do...

well, the game has 4 cds and i looked up the error msg i got on the Net(0x8004007). one of the ways suggested to avoid the error was to burn the game into a single dvd and install it from there. so i tried burning but not possible as my writer does not recognise my dvd-rw.

Re-erase the disc using 'CloneCD', then try to burn the disc again.
I have in the past had errors on RW's when using Nero to erase. Just a thought.

CD/DVD-Writers
