Modifying a jap/us dreamcast to covert the output to pal

I've got a jap dreamcast and i recently bought a copy of skies of arcadia on pal, i've got the boot disk and the game runs fine, except for, only half the picture is showing on screen.

I heard that you could modify a dreamcast by soldering two points on the main board some where. does any one know how to do this or another way of solving the problem.

Try to use the Action Replay.
It let you boot in PAL or in NTCS
