It's not my credit anymore. All thanks to yener90 and his easy like f... (no matter like what ;) ) installer. Moreover my scripting abilities are such poor that you're pushed to watch this ugly WinRAR window instead of some nice looking gauge. Of course all repack can be done in background (inno's "runhidden" switch won't run but WinRAR has -ibck switch) but there are few minutes when nothing is happened on the screen so probably half of users will kill the setup by task manager :)

BTW: I realize that commandline 7zip would be better then WinRAR but I can't find any suitable switches for "repack all *.zip in all subfolders from 'nocomp' to 'lightcomp'". If you know some please post it to earn some credits if it'll be working :)

dude...if you use the newest version of custom installer, it supports RAR and 7z.
did it need to be zip?? :D
then you wouldnt need to make a custom extractor ;)

@yener90: game uses zipped files with light compression (which are poor compressed by freearc) so I decided to change its compression to zero (now they are much more 'freearced'). During instalation they need to be light-zipped (uncompressed or unzipped arn't recognized by game).

@eliwodkung: it's all OK, just my laziness during renaming files :D You can continue conversion. I'll fix it in next hours.

'convert.rar' updated. Although if you have done step 7. with previous one you don't need do this again.

@eliwodkung you don't have to choose preset from list, you may write your own. Just type '-mx -ld256m' in this line (without quotes). Of course you can use -ld800m which gives 2.75GB after 1' 40" compression

@MATRIXOMER did you properly done step 7? If yes there should be, for example, "engine.zip" (size 46 996 829 bytes) instead of "engine.pac" in Win32\PAC folder

@MATRIXOMER your zips are virgin *.pac (without any repack). Did you have winrar.exe in root of game folder while running 1#convert.bat ? Did you see this window?
2740

Also 1#convert.bat and winrar.exe must be in game folder

I have the same problem as MATRIXOMER. After conversion (WinRAR.exe and Convert.bat copied to the game folder, others languages except EN deleted) game data is completely messed up. There are zips and rars and whole game folder is almost 14gb. I've deleted rars manually, after that game folder is ~7.70gb, but after compression with FreeArc data1.cab is still ~6.2gb.

Note: I use 2nd version of convert.bat

Huh man... what a mess  I've missed some WinRAR registry value determining output format.

It's corrected now, although you must delete data2.cab comming from previous TCC_DVD5.rar and create your own at step 10.
