Hunted The Demon's Forge (1x DVD5) *INNO+FreeArc*

1) Extract 'HTDF_1xDVD5.7z' contents

2) Re-encode the biks videos to a ~ 40-45% bitrate of original ones and then move them to 'HTDF_DVD5\MOVIES' folder

3) Launch FreeArc and then compress the Game's installation folder contents:

Output archive: HTDF
Compression: -mx -ld800m
Make exe: Not checked

4) Move 'HTDF.arc' to 'HTDF_DVD5' folder

5) Burn or make iso with label name of your choice

can i jump this step and backup the game in a DVD9? It can work and fit in a DVD9?

Yep,don't re-encode and then move them in the 'HTDF_DVD5\MOVIES' folder.
Obviously using this way it doesn't fit on dvd5, the final size will be around ~ 5.20 gb

The original movies folder is Hunted the demons forge\DFGAME\MOVIES
In this Conversion Hunted the demons forge\MOVIES
root problem? Only Move Movies folder to DFGAME folder

after re-encoding the biks move them to the HTDF_DVD5\MOVIES folder. The setup.exe
expects them in that folder.

just like the instructions say ;)

make a DFGAME folder first, then the MOVIES subfolder. See if it installs correctly that way?

that way creates errors in instalation ,,,,,,,,,, now works 100% but mi freearc archive includes the original movies folder :) and the movies folder in the dvd structure contains dummy bik files ...

I tried installing the Peter's way and it works! I just only need to move Movies folder to DFGame folder then the movies work well.

But Peter, what's your final size?
my arc size is 3.87 GB and re-encoded movies 700 MB. So total size is 4.47 GB (doesn't fit on 1xDVD5). I convert the movies to 40% of original size, and remix all audio tracks back into reencoded biks.

@dudul search game's folder for *fra.*, *.fra, *esn.*, *.esn files (and so on, leave only your lang, *int.*, *.int are english ones) and delete them. It's ~220MB per one lang

I have a question, I delete the other languages (INT,DEU,ESP,FRA) file and folder; each languages i clear 220 MB, for a total of 880 MB.
In this way, i tought initially, i can leave the original video (due to a lot of time spent to convert the video).
But the arc file is 3.70 gb !!! Why? (I obliviusly move the MOVIES folder before compress)

EDIT : I have another problem, i leave the original idea of foreing languages, and i re-encode the bik file. The conversion work, the game install correctly but i can't see the video, simply the video was skipped in a shortly black screen.
I put the folder "MOVIES" , content the re-encoded video, in the folder HTDF_DVD5 , togheter the file already exist and the the file HTDF.arc, and then I create the ISO. What is the error?
In the original install directory the folder MOVIES is in the folder DFGAME; i try to create this folder in a ISO's root, but i receive an error during installation (the folder MOVIES isn't founded)
