I'm a dumbass with a burner who doesn't know what to do... Please help!

Alright so I'm sitting here with my burner and I have no clue where to start. What do I do? How do I do it? Yes I am stupid! Can someone please tell me the process from start to finish on how to get a CD-R to play in my DC?? THANKS!
