You NEED the fixed layout.bin file IF your going to say use this package no need to run editlayout.bat
It's NOT there, you only changed the editlayout.bat file but didnt include the changed layout.bin file!
Nothing now i get error for the media small
Win7 x64
Using senseman's file from post #3, extract that into DISK1 folder. Yes to overwrite. First run the editlayout.bat, then the repack_cabs.bat file.
He changed it becasue I told him there was an error with the choice command in the original bat file. XP doesnt include this but vista/win7 does.
So autoset the editlayout to 4gb ( which is what the file from post #3 does)
is possible 1lang dvd5 conversion?
No, the game installs files for ALL languages.. not possible to remove them.

Nope, game installs files for all other languages as well.
i edit the EditLayout.bat
working perfect
Thanks
I've tried it under w7x64 and it worked flawlessly :)
Thanks again senseman!!! ;)
Senseman and pakrat2k2 great work as always. Thanks guys, it works for me on win7 ultimate x86.
ok.. start all over again. make the 2 temp folders ( with proper names )
copy over dvd9 to temp #1, extract the files from post #3.. there will be no overwrite
JUST run the repack_cabs.bat file ( vista/win7 right-click run as administrator )
once that ends MOVE the support folder & data3.cab to temp 2..
Ive run this both in XP & win7 and it works perfectly.
I will follow these instructions and then I notice if it worked.
Edit:
It worked finally! Thank you very much :D

I've got a problem with the Editlayout.bat thing. It just runs but I can't select 1 as you said in your post. Am I doing something wrong?
Edit: Tried the second post of senseman with the other attachment but still getting the error "Media too small. Could not fit "data2.cab" on disk1".

Dude, haven't you saw the EDIT thing on my post? I said that I've tried the second post of senseman and I got the same error. I can't do a thing, stuck at the error part.
Edit: I think that I'm low with space on the drive. Maybe that's the problem.
Exactly how much free space do I need to have to finish this process?

probably between 10-20GB
Well, I have a question...
Anyone tried this on Windows XP SP3 32-bit? If yes, I'd like to know how he did it, if not, maybe I should try the conversion on Win 7, maybe that will work...none of the senseman post's is working for me, the repack_cabs.bat is not working properly maybe, I can't really tell what seems to be the problem.
