Divinity 2 update troubles

Divinity 2 (as bugged as it without patches) wont let me update it (Obv i have a cracked one) When i try and update it, it tells me "cannot validate game version" Is there a reason for this? has anyone else had this problem? is there a fix? or any manual patch files someone can upload or link me to?

If you have some custome patches applied, uninstall them. If that doesn't help, re-install the game and try again. Also, in case there are multiple patches, make sure you're using the patch that corresponds to the version and language of the game in its current state.

the game is unpatched, Reinstalling the game didnt work, Yes i am using the auto updater
