Divinity II - Ego Draconis (DVD9 to 2xDVD5) Inno Setup v5.3.5
1) Install the game from dvd9.
2) Extract 'DivinityII.7z' contents where you want
3) Open Inno Setup script 'DivinityII.iss' and edit it under label files:
from Source: f:\Divinity II - Ego Draconis\*;
to Source: yourdrive:\folderofgameafterinstallation\*;
4) Compile the script
5) Move:
setup-2*.bin files to disk2
6) Copy from dvd9:
'support' & 'Autoupdate' folders to disk2
'images' folder to disk1
'autorun.inf' to disk1
'StartUp.exe' to disk1
'installation.ini' to disk1
7) Copy D2ED.ico from 'DivinityII.7z' archive to disk2
8) Create autorun.inf in disk2:
[autorun]
open=0
icon=D2ED.ico
9) Edit autorun.inf in disk1:
[autorun]
open=StartUp.exe
icon=setup.exe,0
10) Burn or make ISOs with label names of your choice.

@peter: 1DVD5 compressed possible?
No unfortunately, the only file compressible with a good ratio is textures.dv2, maybe with the resample of WMV videos also, but would become of poor quality

new installation went fine. instructions weren't exactly specific. dvd1 needs icon=game.ico changed to icon=setup.exe .
uninstallation went fine. can't test the game right now.
are you 100% sure it "works" ?

Can someone explain why I have to install from my DVD9 first and how big (which files exactly) are on dvd1 and dvd2? Thanks
p.s. What does compile the script mean?
p.s.2 My bad. I didn't use Inno setup to compile the files. Works good now.

After installing game through this conversion, I cannot install the US Update patch 1.03. It says "Cannot identify the installed version."
Any help appreciated. thanks!

The right patch file is Divinity_II_Patch_1.03_EIS.exe (406 MB) tested and working with conversion.
