i am new to this game back up stuff. how can i burn self bootable cd that don't need a mod chip

You mean the one's that don't require a boot disc.

Yeah sure, but not all hardware can read/write these types of games (the gap between the tracks of the cd is too short for some writers to cope with).

The program most people use is either Disc Juggler or CloneCD. Both programs have a useful helpfile, but CloneCD is the easier one to use and has a table of compatible hardware - you should be able to find your writer in there somewhere.

In order to copy DC self-booters you need a cd-rom/cd-writer that can read in RAW mode and write in the same format. Some writers cannot, hence the games' won't load.
