New guy to backup dc games please help.....

Hey there guys. I am new to burning dc backups. I recently purchased a dreamcast and I would like any info on making copies. If anyone could help me out please email me and let me know. I tried to make a copy of a copy, I did this with playstation and it worked but I tried it with dreamcast and the cd screen just pops up. Do I need a boot disk or did something wrong. Please email. thanks alot.
