lightgun problem with house of dead 2

I got a copy of hotd2 and i have a pal dc. Its telling me "peripheral in port A is not supported in North America".Is there a patch or something i can do to get round this.

'Fraid not m8. I had the same problem myself because I had a NTSC backup of the game which doesn't support the official gun. The only way round this is to buy a third party gun (the madkatz one for instance) as these work for some reason.
