I always sucked at CS. Been trying to play it since 2001 or something. Always at the bottom of leaderboard

Hello, I have a strange problem on my windows xp professional x64 and I cant run counter strike 1.6 on it. When I try to run the game I got a message " available memory less than 15 MB". Can enyone please help me. I went to compatibility but it still shws the same problem. I need to fix it as quickly as posible. HELP!!!

It probably misdetects the size of memory in your PC. How much do you have? Try removing a gigabyte or two and try again; does it work then? Uhm, if I'm not mistaken, there's Counter-Strike rewritten with Half-Life 2's newer engine; it might work better on newer PC's...
