I am looking for another alternative to the coder's cable. I heard of an Xfer card which is around $200 U.S. I found a site selling them but before I buy, I wanted to know what the difference will be. Could someone please explain? The site that sells the card really does a horrendous job of explaining what it is used for. All I know is that it is for the DC and that it costs a lost. Also, there is software in the DC Utilities area made just for this card. So anyone who knows??

Sorry for the rant but 2 of my questions have yet to be answered. I only have about 80 games or so to contribute. Not to mention I have a lot of other resources and skills. It's too bad that this is being impeded by lack of response and support. Xena is only one person and is working his/her behind off so I won't include xena. I am not going to be the 1,000th newbie in here to bother xena when he already has enough to do.

the xfer card is same idea as the serial cable, except you have to modify your dc with the xfer card. i use the serial and do not know all the deatils on the xfer card, but i think it r*ps at same speed....

don't u think that its kinda retarded to buy something thats 200 dollars for your dc when segas not even making games anymore? and the speed is damn fast... something like 1 meg/s (what i heard anyway)

Maybe it was just a rumor... i think it says something about that at the site. What was it again? like double-duetch
