just as a matter of interest

I take it that the idea behind broadband rippin would be to connect your DC directly to your PC's network card and then you could, in theory, rip at 100Mbps which would obviously decrease the time it would take to rip by a considerable amount

you will need to excuse my ignorance because i come from a part of Scotland where Mary Poppins is just coming out in the cinema, nevermind DSL being available, but obviously you wouldn't need a broadband phoneline if you were just connecting your DC to your PC.

I did buy the dc2pc programmers cable but I find it difficult to stay away from my DC for 20 mins nevermind 20 hours

I could see how it works because obviously if 2 machines have a IP address then they can transfer information, but why has it not been thought about way before now

could somebody please enlighten me

yes, but the broadband adapter is still new, and someone does have to make this possible by the great world of programming...it will just take time...
