Hey, all

I'm looking for a bit of simplicity - what is the easiest, most reliable way to turn video ISOs/DVDs into a series of clips?

Any specific software, guides, etc, recommended?

Thanks.

Cut it into parts with an MPEG(-2) stream editor (with e.g. MPEG2VCR or PVAstrumento) and then either convert the parts into XviD AVI's (with e.g. GordianKnot) or shrink & reauthor them into another DVD (with e.g. Nero Recode or Nero VisionExpress).

I don't quite understand what exactly you're trying to do. You might want to elaborate... For softwares and guides, see http://www.doom9.net.

Hmm.

Nothing complex as far as clips go - per individual chapters/scenes/etc. Essentially a 1:1 ratio for the vob (or whatever) the files ares to individual scenes.

Since I only wanted to do this for a single set of DVDs, I was a bit hesistant to get into the tech aspects hardcore.

Still, thanks for the resources. I'll check 'em out.

If anybody knows any other simple/user-friendly/wizard-based apps, it'd be appreciated.
