STALKER Clear Sky v1.5.05 [RUSSIAN] at GCW is not proper crack

This crack is repacked RELOADED 1.5.04 crack (EFIGS), with one additional original dll from 1.5.04 version.

Sure, using it will make it possible to run game that is patched to 1.5.05 (including EFIGS release), but probably most of the changes that patch brings will not be implemented due to use of old executable.

I cannot confirm that. I have played Clear Sky from 1.5.03 to 1.5.05 now. I have only applied a No-DVD-crack recently when I got tired of the ongoing Insert-Original-Disks messages though the original DVD IS in (I do not have any Emulation-SW installed).

Anyhow: I have played 1.5.05 first without and now with the No-DVD-Files from gamecopyworld. NO difference in gameplay, the saves are fully compatible, the features identical, no lost script events and so on.

But (speaking about the international version here):
If you have (and you should have) an uncracked version as first install, and if this international version is patched to 1.5.05 you need to KEEP the original xrcore.dll (832 KB, 24.09.08) and DELETE the xrCore.dll from the Xside-addition to the 1.5.03-Reloaded-files (832 KB, 17.09.08).
The game will not start with the older xrcore.dll.

BTW: Clear Sky 1.5.05 is stable and worth playing it

Hmm...
There is no xrCore.dll in RELOADED 1.5.04 crack, nor in Russian "fake" 1.5.05 crack.

RELOADED crack (for 1.5.04) changes following files:
xrEngine.exe
xrGame.dll
xrCPU_Pipe.dll

Russian "crack":
xrEngine.exe
xrGame.dll
xrCPU_Pipe.dll
xrNetServer.dll

First 3 files in Russian "crack" are exactly same as in old RELOADED crack. Any file compare program can verify that. And xrNetServer.dll file is exacty same as original file used with 1.5.04 patch.


P.S.
As for loss of fetures. It's know thing that 1.5.04 and 1.5.05 saves are compatible, so there is no issue here (nor could be detected by using old exe). Also, scripts are not stored in executables, so they are probably updated to 1.5.05 values. Still, if there were any code changes added with 1.5.05 patch in those executables or libraries metioned above, they will not be applied if using Russian "crack".

I was referring to the gamecopyworld-files and the infoline under the 1.5.05-no dvd:
These Fixed Files also work for the EFIGS version when the EFIGS v1.5.03 Fixed Files from RELOADED have been applied first!
That's what I did, using/applying the TWO 'packages' for 1.5.03 first. Checking the site I see "RELOADED & Xside" - I have to go and have again a look where exactly the XrCore.dll is in. I uses "Reloaded" in the sense of the info in the quote.

Well, the "fake" crack worked for me too, even withoug applying 1.5.03 fixed files at all.

Although i did had 1.5.04 patch installed, before installing 1.5.05, if that matters.

Of course, I still think some fixes will be missing if used in this way.

OK, my first post here was not precise enough. Will edit it. The xrCore.dll is part of the (smaller) Download 1.5.03. Quote from the readme (including mistakes :D)

The original RELOADED release don't works on Clear Sky UK/EGIFS Version. I added two files xrNetServer.dll and xrCore.dll, now the crack works on Clear Sky UK/EGIFS Version.

If you apply the No dvd-patch for 1.5.05 from gamecopyworld, keep the xrCore.dll from the official patch.
