Wintermute has already created a CD to DVD installer:

If you read this page, it mentions some errors about missing animations (serious problems later in the game, especially in gamer mode):

This will fix those problems. Mostly tested but make sure to obey the 'README': 531
You can replace the created DVD EXAM*.AP files with the ones this program builds. But you still must copy them over after installing to avoid some CD4/6 checks.
