View Full Version : Help with burning a dvd please

i recently recorded my brothers concert and was able to figure out how to rip it to the computer, and edit it, now i can get it burnt to dvd in a form our dvd will read. i never had a problem before with movies but i just cant figure it out. i am not very computer literate so if you can help i would appreciate it. thanks

ps. i used windows movie maker to edit the program but i have xilisoft video converter

Dunno what those two programs can do but having the video in (or converted to) MPEG-2 format is not enough, some more preparations (so called "authoring") needs to be made so that it becomes a DVD. So, what you need is a DVD authoring software, e.g. DVDLab or Nero VisionExpress; use Google for more.

The sofware you are using only can be used for the file converting not burning. You need NERO or related programs. You cam find them on the sources like Hyperfileshare.com or rapisdshare or on the hotscripts.
