I see that no-one's replied and the reason is fairly simple. They've all been where you are and after getting a small kickstart, they've downloaded the patches, downloaded the tutorials, printed them out and done the business. So here's your kickstart and I doubt you'll get more:

1/
To avoid all the hassle with patching EA games, with a fully compatible reader/burner, you could use CloneCD ( ####://www.elby.de ) to copy EA games. These 1:1 copies work with all popular modchips for US and PAL PS2. If you can't use CloneCD then you have to do all the patching sh*t.

2/
You would need CDRWin ( ####://www.goldenhawk.com ) to copy EA games to hard disk and later to burn back to CD-R. Tutorials can be found on ####:/www.ps2ownz.com or ####://www.sg-dan.com

3/
You would need a patching kit and patches avaliable either through the above sites and from ####://www.eapatcher.com . The patching kit includes a number of utilities and, as I recall, the tutorials are with the kit.

You just have to plug away at it - the above is about all the help you can be given at this stage unless you hit a specific problem in the middle of it. But step 1 above is the easiest way.
