Hi there,
Unlike most people, I like to figure things out on my own when it comes to burning DC games (unlike those who want to be told every single itsy bitsy god damned step). Now I need a couple of pointers. First off, I'm using Echelon's selfboot tutorial to make some of my DC backup titles selfboot. I've got everything done right until the part where I have to enter the bootsector and stuff in after executing the BINHack. I'll put the 1st_read.bin and then where I'm supposed to put the IP.bin but then I get the prompt saying "error opening IP.bin". Is there anything I'm doing wrong? I'm trying to selfboot Street Fighter 3:3rd strike. I've put all the data in the Data file on the c:\selfboot directory and put the IP.BIN and 1st_read.bin in the selfboot dir. I've also made all the files "archive" instead of "read only". I also had success burning the first 300 block sector thru DOS. I'm just stuck with the "error opening IP.bin" during the BINHACK part. Any help would greatly appreciated! Thank you very much.
