OK got second 360 with the intention to flash the fm?
the dvd drive is a hitachi 0078fk (unflashable, for now),
can i put one of these in?

flash it with patched fw and my mb keys?

If you could dump the key from the drive, you could. But I believe the only way to do that at the moment is to desolder the TSOP (Firmware chip) and read it off using a programmer.

Yep thats correct, you will need to remove the glue thingie over the chip, desolder, put it in a programmer, dump it and then you could mod if... Hopefully there will be a better way soon... :)
