Vanishing mouse pointer/ pointer getting stuck

My old P III home PC is still working well but for some minor problems cropping up now and then.

The pointer of the mouse sometimes appear with a black square shadow and I am not able to change it to normal pointer mode.

The pointer gets stuck up and does not move whatever be the command.

The pointer suddenly vanishes.

For the last two situations, I have to restart; but scan disk comes through after which it works.

PLEASE TELL ME SOLUTIONS

Could be a number of things.

But also this is the support section for the forums, the hardware section is your best place to post these things.

Your computer could be infected with a virus or you have some corrupted files in your system. Try running anti virus or repair your operating system.

In my experience, broken mouse is either not moving or intermittent mouse movement.

ur mouse cable snapped a bit? it can be graphical glitch too
