View Full Version : Battlefield 2142 error?
I have prob. here,when i start single player map after 1-2min. it gives me:BT2142.EXE error.I use NVidiaGeForce FX5700 Athlon64processor 3000+,1.00GB of RAM.
Then i downloaded new drivers 91.47 witch supported BT2142,company of heroes...But nothing changed?
Any solution?

What kind of error-message does the game give you?
Does this error occur with our without a fixed exe?
If it happens with the crack applied, have you tried with your original exe?

Read the FAQ on general gaming problems and how to report them.
I have crack exe,and also tryed crack from GCW.
"BF2142.EXE has encountered a problem and needs to close.We are sorry for the inconvenience"
And,you know,give me Send error Report,Debug,and Dont Send.

But have you tried to play the game just using the original disc, without using any NoCD.exe?
You have only told us it does not work when using a crack!
So does it work when not using a crack?

No problems here without the crack
ok i got the same problem but i found a solution, u update your audio drivers or the other solution:
press Windows+r and then type dxdiag and press enter, then go to sound tab and there change audio acceleration from total acceleration to basic acceleration and voila!! its done it works.. well at least it worked for me.

Hello Dear,
It would be of great help if u could solve my below mention problem?
I have done the setup the game rightly.i.e- (after your setup you have to replace “PROFILE”, in GAME as well as in MY DOCUMENTS)
Whenever I try to PLAY the game, it gives me “SEND – DON’T SEND ERROR”

Are you installing from a warez (Downloaded from a torrent site) version??
Or are you using an original legally purchased version??

I keep getting the error message "Conflict with Emulation Software Detected" I have proceeded per instruction to remove all possible CD emulation software aka:Daemon Tools, Power Iso, Magic Iso, and Alcohol 120% and I am still getting this message. I'm getting extremely annoyed with the fact that I shelled out 20 bucks for this game and I am having such a hard time just to get it to run. The CD protection BS needs to stop and they need to use key codes to be allowed to play online. so any advice will be helpful.

I'm one of those who purchased the downloaded version of 2142. Instead of the DVD, it runs from the EA's download manager ... I will not do this again, but to the problem
Running BF2142 on the pc, all was good, then I downloaded and applied patch 1.5 to the main install ... all though the user interface, but do not have any luck getting bf2142 to start.
Literally, I click the icon, it loads then IMMEDIATELY gives the VISTA "BF2142.exe has stopped working, please wait while windows searches for a problem - within 8-10 seconds, BF 2142 stopped functioning altogether and the window displays a CLOSE button.
I have attempted to reapply the patch (even re-downloaded it) without success.
Help, attention, suggestions are greatly welcomed!

hello , im having the same problem well actually the game was running fine before i patch it to 1.5 and after i installed the patch and i tried to run the game but it gives me an error to insert a CD so i downloaded several NoCD cracks and now it crashes and give me this error report "BF2142.EXE has encountered a problem and needs to close.We are sorry for the inconvenience".
I tried to reinstall directX and also tried few cracks but still same problem. how can i fix it?
happens when using original exe and original disk?

well when i use my original CD crack it says that i need to insert a CD :confused: so i downloaded some cracks and when i try to run the game it gives me the error report
Does the fix match your version of the game? If so, it could range from anything from missing runtimes (C++ etc), outdated graphics drivers, a corrupt install, even a bad crack.
Also, all this aside, you won't be able to play online (safely) with a crack, not on ranked server anyways, as PB may well freak out over the modified file. Which zeros out most of the point of the game does it not?

i just repaired the game by reinstalling it but still same problem and i don't know how to check if my graphics drivers are out of date but all i knnow is that the game was working perfectly before the patch and i'm thinking about removing the game completely and then install it without the patch, maybe that's the best way and cannot be fixed, thanks for everyone that helped and if anybody still have some ideas on how to fix it , i appreciate that
