Does any one know why my broadband wont work unless I take the phone off the hook?

you're not giving as any info AT ALL!

but my first guess would be, have you got adsl filters on your phone line?

Going to need a little more to bite on here Dcallaghan.

When you say broad band you mean.. cable? DSL? Your have VOIP phone service?

The diesel is into details .. :)
