OK guys, here's the story. I bought a DC way back when, and also bought some burned games with a boot disk. A few years back, we moved and I moved out, leaving the DC with my family. I got it back now, but they said they couldn't find the boot cd. I figured I could just make another one.

The one I made boots up to the main "please insert cd" screen, but when I put in the burned cd (which DID work with my old boot cd), it doesn't work. You can hear the machine just keep spinning and reading. I tried making another boot cd, but with the same results.

For lack of a better word, I'm befuddled. Any advice?

Do you using RGB / SCART cable?

I use an RGB cable, but what does that have to do with it? I can see everything fine, it's just the cd doesn't load.
