I've seen stuff about this qoob pro chip, but I heard that it's no longer being sold? Maybe I heard wrong? Does anyone know where I can get one, for information purposes?

Nah, you can still buy one if you look for it.I think it is the sx that dosen't sell anymore. Anyway. If you just want to boot you backup, get a duoQ instead, there a not expensive and easier to install; just under the cd thing. No heatsink to remove.
