So I have a DC manufactured in December 2000 and it refuses to play any burned CD I put in it.

I'd heard its called a non-mil DC or whatnot, anyway, the thing refuses to read anything I backup (I was especially interested in homebrew games).

Now, I've heard that there is a method to create CDs that even these types of Dreamcasts will read... yet directions seem very complicated, I don't know if I'm doing them right, and most of all they don't work. In fact, I'm not even sure if these guides are legitimate or fake. Most of the guides name off programs and what your supposed to do in them, but leave out how you actually are supposed to do it.

Anyway, I was wondering if anyone had a method to burn for this model of DC and could give me some step by step directions. And seriously, I'm not saavy in any of this stuff, so for directions I would really like somethign that holds my hand through the process. If that's even possible.

grab BootDreams (http://www.consolevision.com/members/fackue/?My_Projects:BootDreams) and make again selfboot from files using DATA DATA method. Binhack ip and 1st_read (check msinfo value after burning first data session & when image creates) but do not scramble them in BD.
