The backup of my Black & White 2 doesn't work. I have mounted the image on alcohol but an error message appears, telling me that Black & White 2 has detected a CD/DVD rom emulating software and it doesn't start. Even with a fixed exe it doesn't work, this time is windows that crashes. Can someone help me please???? my email is marco_l87**********com - Thanks everybody

Use a program like SD4Hide (http://cdmediaworld.com/hardware/cdrom/cd_utils_8.shtml#SafeDisc 4 Hider / SD4Hide) to "hide" your virtual cd drives for Safedisk 4.

I read the FAQ and tried everything that Iv found there but it doesn't work. Even with a sd4 hider or blocker it doesn't work.

I changed the virtual drives name, model, producer. Negative.
I changed the virtual drives letters. Negative.
I use Alcohol 120% 1.9.5 3105, with all emulation options enabled. Negative.
I unplugged the power cable from my physical drives. Negative.
I tried with a Securom 7 Loader, SD4 hider and even blocker. Negative.
I exited anydvd and any software like that. Negative.
I used the windows 2000 compatibility mode. Negative.

I tried with a No-cd patch but it is the same.
I even tried to burn the mini image and disable any emulating software but it continue to tell me the it detects the cd/dvd emulating software. I thought that the problem is not in my software, but in the mini image. So I've downloaded some other mini images but it doesn't work...

No, with the no-cd patch the system crashes... I see the main screen (loading) of black and white 2 then it crashes.

Moreover, I've installed the game on another computer (which has been formatted recently so there isn't any additional software on it) and it works perfectly, but still on MY pc it doesn't work... I must have some strange software that the game doesn't like....

All right guys, I am successful!!!! After 2 days in front of the pc, trying to run this game I understood the problem, even if it wasn't active or opened, Clone CD has been detected by the protection... I had to uninstall it and then the game worked!!!! The stranga thing is that I hadn't installed on my pc Virtual Clone Drive.... Well, the important thing is that I'm playing Black & White 2. Thank u all 4 your help, I'm grateful. Bye bye :D

AFAIK, there isn't a NoDVD crack for Black and White 2 so where did you get one? This uses SDAPI I believe and no one has cracked it? I think you may be mistaking a fixed image for a NoDVD.

black & white 2 got cracked i think but never released cos it´s a bit late.
reloaded did the addon and the crack works fine.

of course not, these checks are done by the safedisc part wich got stripped from cracked executables.
