Hi there,
Iīm a 100%-newbie with consoles hacking and modding.
My question is about the transport of savegames and cracked files from my PC to the XBox. Of course I can use ftp, but the problem is my PC... it doesnīt find anything.
My other idea was to burn all the files I downloaded from the internet (e.g. savegames or trainers) to a dvd and then to read the dvd with my XBox.

Therefor I use "dvd2xbox" and I can see all the files and also copy them to the directories on the XBox. But nothing works on my box...

Does anyone know why? Are the files getting converted by using ftp and are in a wrong format when I burn them directly to a dvd?

No idea... hope u can help me.
thanks in advance, michael

I got the files from xbox-saves.com (most of them) and burned them with Nero as a CD(iso) or a DVD(iso), without changing anything.

386

As u can see, on the left side are the folders with the savegames. I only used 1 by the time, cause I wanted to see, which is working and which is not.
In all the folders, there is a subfolder called "UDATA" and a "gameid.ini"

The original games on my box donīt even have a gameid.ini or the UDATA-folder. What do I have to do with it? Sometimes there is a "DATA"-folder in my xbox-games, but the names of the files have nothing to do with the savegamefilenames.

With my PC it was easier, search for an original savegame, delete it and then paste a new one - done.

I also tried out a trainer for evoX. Downloaded the .etm-file from www.megagames.com and copied it with my burned CD to the xbox. All my games are on partition f:, so I pasted it in f:\trainers, where several .etm-files are. The prog I used to copy them is dvd2xbox.
Then I go to "settings" and "trainers" of my xbox and there they are, all the new trainers. But not one of them worked

Did you also try this before? Whats the reason?

For trainers, you will need to make sure they are enabled in the evox settings. There is an option which I cannot recall the name, it has 3 modes (off, normal, debug...i believe). However, a lot of people don't turn them on in the trainer's menu either. They sometimes forget to "save and exit", after the trainer options have been chosen.

As for the saves, look on your E drive. There is a UData and TData folder. Put the saves from your burned TData folder, into the one located on the E drive.

I did like you told me and... IT WORKS!!! :D :D :D
You are my hero! That was really easy but I didnīt know.
So I took my burned cd and put the files from Udata to the same folder on my E drive.
Do you know, what the "gameid.ini" is for? I didnīt copy it but there was no problem. And the Tdata folder seems not to be used. It has the same subfolders like the Udata folder, but most of them are empty.

Thank you, Iīm really happy it is working

I believe those ini's are just for PC utilities. You don't need them, the xbox does not use them at.
