One of my Battflield 1942 dics is unreadable but i have the game installed on my HDD. Is there some kind of installer i can use to get the game files into an executable file kind of like the original disc (I would put it on a dvd). i have thought of just using winrar but is there anything better so I could get up install dir,etc like a normal game setup?

Thanks

Read the forum rules, the FAQ and finally contact the publisher for a replacement.

Will they give me a free replacement? That would be perfect. Would there be any problem with me being in spain?

Not free, you'll have to pay for it. As for you being in Spain, it should be no problem. (But why don't you ask them?!)

lol if I still have to pay then I might aswell go directly to the shop I bought it from. Thus saving postage costs (which I will probably have to pay)

Why dont they release games with a backup copy!?! It would not have to have the game design on the cd etc... saving costs a bit. It would be nice :D

@Sam Leach
Yes you will have to pay but it is normally only a fraction, of the whole retail price, for a replacement disc. ;)

Selling a game with a backup copy will cost quite a bit more (more space, more packaging!) and it won't help you. The most important part of letting you make a backup of your originals is that you can make another backup every time you previous backup dies. (You still have one backup at a time...)
