View Full Version : Playing Backups on my TV is all jumpy.
When playing original games on my TV I can see it fine, when i play a copy it goes all jumpy as if out of tune, Im using a basic RF cable. The games play on other TVs but not mine. Any ideas?
If you are from the uk there is a good chance your tv might only run 50 hrt games (pal)
if you get uk back ups or if the back up has had a pal fix they sould be fine,
I have be the same problem and i had to buy a new tv but it might be worth trying a scart lead. or if you have a cd copyer back up the game but add a (pal fix) you can find them on dc copy world along with the ppf o matic to add the patches

Fatty Matty is right, UK has inferior televisions. If you bought a TV recently theres a good chance the backups will work since the new TV should support 60Hz. UK suks. I know I live here.
Another option you can try if you dont want to buy a new TV, scart lead or go through all the hasssle of re-burning the games wilth a UK/Pal fix to get a inferior 50Hz frame rate is to simply get a VGA adapter and play the games high-res through your monitor.
Speaking of which, there is the "Treamcast" VGA adapter which "plays backups". What does this mean? Dont the other VGA adapters play DC-R's?
