problem with shenmue

Hey what's up. I bought shenmue(usa) yesterday and when using my boot cd it locks up around 90-100% when loading and won't play. This is on an asian dreamcast(no modem). Anyone else have this problem, or can someone point me to a fix for this? I have'nt tried my copy on another dreamcast yet, and my boot disk is 1.1 and works fine with other burned games and american games. Thanks

I belive that the Shenmue rip was a selfboot???????

My copy isn't ripped. I actually went out and bought it.I've played lots of american games(not copies)before with the boot disk and never had a problem except for this one. See what I get when I actually buy a game..
