Hey,

I bought a RCA Lyra Mp3 player a while back and it worked great but recently theirs this problem where the music only comes through one ear piece speaker thingie(sorry forgot the name). lol does anyone know how to fix this? thanks!! BTW: i'm leaving tommarow for vacation so can you plz answer quick

Yea you probably broke your headphone connections.. Very Very Common.. You're gonna need a new set of headphones.. if you twist the wire around near the plug you'll probably hear it come back and then go away again.. But yea.. Happens all the time if you're not careful or if the headphones are cheap to begin with.

no the headphones are fine because i tried another set of headphones and still the same problem appeared.... thanks though

That means the input jack has been damaged.. if you've ever dropped the player and caught it by the headphones you may have loosened a connection inside the player.. The little jack is soldered to the circuit board inside and one of them has come apart. If you wiggle the headphone jack at the base and get it to come back you've damaged the internals.. Not as common but still not rare.. In that case either you crack it open and resolder that connection or buy a new player

Silly question time...


Is your mp3's in stereo? If so do they play both channels on your pc?
