OK now I don't know if this is a common problem but here it is. I managed to burn Soul Calibur, and it loads up fine. The problem is, it hardly ever gets past the intro screen. Only on some very lucky days will it actually work, the rest of the time I stare sadly at the flickering intro screen that says "the legend never dies."
Now I used DJ 3.00.757 for it and maybe I should have used a different program....... Can anyone help me out? Or should I just cross my fingers and burn it again?

I recently needed help with the cnn-sc selfbooting version, which sounds like the one you are describing. I burned it using the latest dj v3 without touching the settings from when you start the prog.
after wasting about 10 cdr's on other settings and a little help from
the net I figured out that when the game loads up 9 out of ten times if you hit one of the buttons on the controller it will boot and then you get a messed up screen. from there you just need to look closely until you see an option that resembles 50hz and 60 hz
the one thats glowing is selected though its hard to see for nstc which is the american made dc the setting should be 60 and the pal european version should be 50hz just hit right on the d pad then hit one of the buttons to pick it.It should boot after that
though i'm not completely sure about it needing you to hit a button
during boot its definitely worth a try. hope I could help.
