BloodRayne 2 - Problem

I play BloodRayne 2 and I have to kill some guy Zarenski but I don't know HOW!!!
One my friend told me to shoot on the bats above Zareski's head.I did that but NOTHING.Can somebody tell me how I to kill stupid Zarenski please (detalied explication).

You have to shoot the bats which fly to you or evade them, eventually he is open for an attack, when you hit him he fly's off to another location then you repeat.
