Sid Meier's Pirates! No-CD Crack is NOT working!

Hi all,

I searched the net for a no-cd crack for Sid Meier's Pirates!, found only 1: http://www.*************.com/gp/gamefixes/sidmeierspirates.htm

I tried it, but as soon as I start, it crashes, and windows xp asks me whether to send the error report or not.

Does this happen to anybody else? I tried doing everything in another partition - another windows install, but same result. So, the fault is in the no-cd patch only?

Is there any other patch existing for this game?

The link you was trying to set, wasn't a link to GameCopyWorld. It was a link to ***************.

Oh yeah, sorry about that. Its *************** only. Got confused.

I tried the ENGLISH FIXED EXE, GERMAN EXE PATCHER and FRENCH FIXED EXE.

The German patch didn't work. Thought the file size mentioned is the same, it said VERSION MISMATCH CRC32 error and exited.

I tried the FRENCH FIXED EXE, the size was almost the same as the original exe, but it ALSO exited giving no error message but winxp asking me to send error report or not.

The ENGLISH FIXED EXE is the same one that I used previously. Still I did it again, but no use. Same way exited and same crashes.

I tried W32DASM but it had NO String Data Prefs as "CD..."

Any ideas?

Is the game working ok when you use your original cds without crack?
Do you have the original cds?
