Info required about mp3 player

normally post in ps2 forum but require a bit info abot mp3 players.
just bought a 512 mpg flash memory player but the headphones are crap, anyone recommend a half decent set of light weight head phones.plugged my full size headphones in & am very impressed with sound quality but don't know if it will damage the player.

can you store more songs using mp3 or wav

Headphones will not damage your player. Keep using your big ones if you are happy with them. All I use is full size headphones, as they tend to block more outside noise and deliver better sound. You will hold ALOT more songs if you use mp3 rather than wave. A full length mp3 will take up 3-6mb depending on bitrate. A wav will eat up 30+mb.
