Installation not right

Ok, I just got a swap magic and slim tools. I've installed the tools as said, but piece A (the hinge one) will not push the micro-switch. This means I cannot use anything yet and, as Swap magic is all i can afford, is a waste of nearlly all my money.

The piece is definetly as far as it will go, and there is no way of pulling it out, aside from opening the PS2.

sorry! this aint gonna help ya m8 but just to say that i hope people take note of your situation and learn from it !!!!!!!!
save ya pennies and get a proper mod install .
and believe it or not a mod install ait that pricey either! ;)

Sorry your having problems nanotechmonkey. Most of us here dont use the swap magic so where not much help. Maybe Jay_83 will read this and be able to help

K thanks. I managed to get it running temporarily, but I've worked out Piece A is faulty. Im now going to try using the piece "A" part of the straw swap trick instead.
