New to DC

hi everyone i just recently purchased a DC off ebay and shoyuld be getting it tomorrow or wednesday. i plan on purchasing a few pal games , mainly shenmue 2 and headhunter. now i know i need a modchip to play imports and im capable of installing a chip i just have no idea what mod chips are out there for DC, i know you cant tell me exactally where to buy one but if someone could help me out by at least telling me the name of a real good chip for the DC id really appreciate it.

you dont need a chip unless you really want one. just download the utopia CD Loader cdi or nrg image and burn it. it will boot non-selfbooting burns and all region originals. it'll save you the soldering and the trouble.

Utopia is not compatible with all imports. The best is DC-X and the rest: DC Import Enabler, Action Replay, Code Breaker, Xploder, GameShark and GameShark Demo (free).

thanks i downloaded the utopia 1.1 boot cd. i didnt know it was that easy, beats a chip
