Tutorial Training With SoftIce

Hi all, I'm making good trainer with Cheat Engine (Thx DABhand), but there are some Limits, i want to tray to make a trainer with softIce but it's complex, someone have a tutorial or an example of a trainer created with SoftIce?

softice is a tool for debugging, not a tool for making trainers, at best you can use it to find areas to patch etc, u sure u know what you're doing?

I'm not an expert, and i know only the base of assembly, but i know that some option for trainer aren't possible with program like cheat engine, and need a professional debugger like softice, but repeat, i'm not expert, i can make only a trainer with a memory scanner and code injection for now :(

Softice wont scan for values like the way you use CE, it helps as said with debugging, but is more powerful than the CE debugger.

You can trace through code, and follow it, makes finding other things easier. Like set god mode on units with a click of a mouse etc.

Softice you can set breakpoints, on mouse clicks, and on memory addresses etc.

You still have to use CE or TSearch to search for values, then use softice to find when it uses those addresses.

Its a bit complex for a beginner, best starting off at the bottom and work your way up, the more confident you become with ASM the easier you will find softice and workings of it.

with CE is Easy to find adress for Unlimited Ammo, Health ecc... but i have not idea how to find adress to lock or unlock the car, i remember a trainer for Vice city where is possible lock your car like police car :E

What is ASM, ive tried making a trainer with TMK but just doesnt give alot of functionality. If anyone can help
