OK, from what I understand, to get a back-up of my existing Dreamcast games, here's what I need to do.
1. Create a boot CD - Add a BootCD Disc Image to a CD through one of the respected company's burner programs.
2. Find ISO - Add this to the CD. Does this need to be done with the same program as the one you use to burn the Disc Image?
3. Create Dummy File - And add this to the ISO CD.
If the game is self bootable I can just throw in the 2nd CD and use that. If the game isn't self bootable, I need to insert the 1st CD (BootCD) with the disc image on it each time I change games.
I haven't begun my adventure into backing up games yet. Can someone confirm the steps above for me, or tell me what could be/go wrong with them before I go ahead?
One more thing: as a newbie, can someone tell me which programs they find most reliable and easy to use?
Thanks a heap!
