Damnit, Michigan! Dont send people to that sucker site. Send them to www.ps2hd.com They too got all the files so you dont have to send to Z's site.

I was reading that Sony has already released versions that patched it (or maybe the hackers found it by looking at what was patched?). Anyways, I hope the hacked firmware could be used with newer psp versions.

So far I think its only with versions of firmware 1.50. Dont think 1.51 or 1.52 work.

about 95% of the psps out there in stores right now are 1.5's (in US)
1.51 and 1.52 are only updated by the user...
quite stupidly i add
heres a link to a workin video that shows an emulator
its released tomorrow! 9am EST :)

watch that
and be amazed
Do you have to do the swap every time you want to play, or just when you turn off the PSP completely, or just when you install the app?
everytime well not really, just put your psp to sleep..
Just see the swapping as a startup method for the Program you would like to run...
You could compare it to the Swaptrick on the PS2.
If you want to play a game, do the Swap.
You would like to change the Game? Than you have to do the swapping again.
Its the same thing with the PSP.
Everytime you close the app und want to launch another you have to swap.
Its that simple.
But again... be warned. Swapping COULD BE dangerous for your Memorystick.
Some people already fried there sticks and one seemed to kust have killed the MemoryStick drive itself!

yea its a hard method to do
and in my opinion kinda gay....
but hey i guess somethisn better than nothin
hopefully this is just a temp process and soon itd be as easy as it is with the 1.0 guys
There will be real hardcore hacks in no time!
Then, the final solution will be a modchip like on the PS2...
OR it will be a custom OS like on the XBox. In my opinion THAT would be
the best solution.
Time will tell (soon I guess)
PEACE
