I have tried to write DC self-bootable (from disk to image and back to disk) with the newest DiscJuggler with both HP (8000 series) and Mitsumi (i'll have to get back to you with the model 'cause I can't remember it right now, but it's both DVD player and CD-r writer) writers and can't get it to work. All seems to go just fine (both session are read, etc.) but when the disk is finished my dreamcast or even the standard pc can't read it. Weird thing is that my friend hasn't had any problems what so ever with DiskJuggler an HP 9000. So, is the problem in hardware? Or do I use wrong DiskJuggler version (2.x seems to be very popular) and is there any way to get up-to-date information about compatibility of the burners and the softwares for dc backups. All the sites seem to have a bit dated information.

Thanks

Goto the HP site and download and install the latest firmware for your burner. Then try again. If that doesnt work then try dj 2.X
And finaly if that doest work buy a new burner.
