i've bought WoWuk version but many of my buds hang out on the us servers ?

is there a way to get WoW to allow me to play on us servers ?

I'd be quite happy to pay for a us account but people tell me the uk version cant access the us servers ?

can any one give me any ideas ?

You can not play on any US server with UK wow... You can only play on servers in your region, sad but true... Be happy for the reduced lag instead... :P

You can play on servers different from your region you just need to change you game version, but i have forgotten how.... I will look for tutorial and if i will find i will post it here. (Tutorial for chanching GB to US).

First of all you need a WinMpq archive opener.

1)After installing 1.1.2 enGb version of the game download and apply the 1.2.0 patch.
Patch links(from google)

2)After patching open interface.mpq and find Interface/FrameXML/FrameXml.toc

in this file change;

## Interface 4...

to

## Interface 4150

save.

2)find Interface/wow.ini and change it to;

[WoW Config]
Version=1
Country=US
Language=en
Region=1

3)find Interface/GlueXML/AccountLogin.lua

change;

-- Check the interface version
if ( GetDataInterface() ~= GetCodeInterface() ) then
GlueDialog_Show("DELETE_INTERFACE");
end

to;

-- Check the interface version
-- if ( GetDataInterface() ~= GetCodeInterface() ) then
-- GlueDialog_Show("DELETE_INTERFACE");
-- end

4)open patch.mpq and find Interface/FrameXML/FrameXml.toc

in this file change;

## Interface 4...

to

## Interface 4150

save.

5)After doing this configure your realmlist.wft.

download original 1.2.1 enUS exe open the game with it.

Note:I work for this solution nearly three hours.

P.S I found it but it is for 1.2.0 or 1.1.2 version so you will need your brain to have it done on your version.
P.P.S Or reinstall patch to needed version change and update to newer versions.

And one more thing this tutorial is for illegal server, but i think it will work on originall

hii

i got orginal wow eu cd key . problem is that i cant download eu version of game i dont have internet connection for that because i have limit 3 gb.
well i have us game at last version 1.4.2 and i cant play on EU servers

on realmlist i set

set realmlist eu.logon.worldofwarcraft.com

and in interface.mpq i set

[WoW Config]
Version=1
Country=GB
Language=en
Region=3

but when i going to connect it cant i only can play on us servers . what is problem ! pls help thx

could someone please post the exactchangeover from a us version of the game to an EU one. Could someone please post an eu wow.exe so i can play the game thanks.

could someone please post wow.exe 1.4 us version, because i can't patch the game(i have 1.6 patch enUS and i can't download the enGB vers, my conection is to slow)
