Ps2 Hd Help

All right i am so sick of patching all my back ups and my cousins is still destroying things ! So i am leaning toward the hard drive. But there are somethings i am not to sure about

1. Where can i DL the softwear for the HD
2. Can i go higher then 120 gis
3. Online gaming, can i play my HD games online ?

any help would be great !

I take it the Adrenalin EA Boot Fix didn't work... Sorry about that.

1. You don't download the software for the HD, that would be piracy, however do a search for HD Loader on Google. Hopefully someone is still selling the original HD Loader Disc. DON'T BUY THE HD ADVANCE. It's just a clone and a ripoff of the original. A friend of mine bought an authentic one about a week ago so hopefully they are still available.

2. You can go higher than 120 gigs if you have a special patched version of the HD Loader. These are not for sale, and you need a modchip to boot the CD-R. You can fit approx. 40 games on a 120 gig depending on the size of the games you install. You can always have 2 Harddrives.

3. As far as online gaming I am not sure since I don't play online...I want to say yes you can but I may and probably am wrong. Hopefully someone else will either confirm or correct me.

Actually the maker of HDLoader just got a cease and desist order from Sony, to stop making HDL. He has. The site PS2HD regularly talks to the maker of HDL and can host the HDL .elf. So go there to get it, its not illegal there.

We here at FileForums dont have connections with the creator of HDL so Id rather we didnt post it here.

Thanks for the update Tyler...I wasn't aware of the change. Aren't there still resellers that still have them in stock?? I just did a google search and it seems that atleast as of April 27th, http://revolution-sales.com/catalog/index.php?cPath=79, is still selling the official HD loader and it is in stock. I would hurry though. Like Tyler said, the maker of this software has stopped producing them. Knowing that Mr. Poope doesn't have a mod yet, he will have no way to boot the CD-R even if he does have a hdloader.elf.

People are selling them the same was as ownz sells HDAdvance. Its just something that will make them money and basically has no real copyrights.
