Rolling Screen on BackUp Games

allrighty, when I use sertain back-ups, the screen rolls like the v-hold is off or something, is this some form of crummy protection, or is do I need a certain patch?

Do they have the same region code?? PAL/NTSC ect.

There is the problem, I can't tell what it is. Also there is no patches for me to fiddle around with for the game. Its "bust a move 3" by the way.
