View Full Version : Is it worth reburning?
I bought a bunch of Taiyo Yuden CD-Rs a while ago, but I'm ending up with numerous coasters. I'm suspecting that this media is simply bad. But, a few discs seem to be running OK. I plan to buy better media to burn ones that didn't work. For ones that are working, is it worth burning again to better media once I get them since they are running OK?
Thanks
Uh, why not just burn from the original.

Warlock, I think he means should he reburn the ones that are working on better media. Not weather or not to use the original to reburn.
Understood :) , In any case i would reburn from the original onto quality media. Just because a backup will load on cheap media doesnt mean its not stressing the laser. I dont know anything about TY cd-r's, the dvd-r's are great.
